A man appeared before the court accused of causing the death of his partner who took her own life after ending an alleged 'controlling and compelling' relationship.
Christopher Trybus, 42, is accused of the manslaughter of Tarryn Baird, of Swindon Wiltshire, who died by hanging in November 2017.
The control and compulsive behavior would have taken place between December 2015 and the date of the death of Mrs. Baird.
The company director is also accused of raping Mrs Baird between October and November 2016.
Trypbus wore a suit and tie, today appeared to Poole Magistrates' Court and only spoke to confirm his name, date of birth and address during the short hearing.
No supplications were taken and the case was sent directly to Bournemouth Crown Court for a date next month.
Trypbus, from Swindon, was released on unconditional bail.
