Beloved Charlotte radio presenter David 'Ace' Cannon died at the age of 56.
The death of the veteran broadcaster was announced on the air waves on Tuesday, WCNC reports.
Details of his death shop were not released at this stage.
Cannon was previously half of the popular 'Ace & TJ show', which has been the audience in North Carolina for more than 20 years.
In an announcement on Hits 96.1, an IHeartMedia station to which he used to stand up, Cannon was described as an important part of the lives of so many people who gave company and laughter to his many listeners and colleagues. '
Cannon organized the breakfast show of the same name together with Ritchie 'TJ' rays until his abrupt departure in September last year.

Beloved Charlotte -Radio presenter David 'Ace' Cannon died at the age of 56 –
“Our prayers are with our brother,” wrote the show on Facebook. “We were destroyed by the news.”
He is survived by his wife Amanda, their one -year -old son Dax and his son of his previous marriage to the first wife Shonette.
The couple also shared a daughter Payton who died tragically in a car accident in 2020 at the age of 21.
Cannon has set up a non-profit in the memory of his daughter named Payton's promise that offers help to communities in need.
