A 15-year-old boy has been charged because of the alleged murder of an owner of a pizzeria who worked the night shift.
Emergency services were called to the Pizza Stop near Kingswood Train Station, 52 km west of Sydney CBD, at around 10.20 pm on Tuesday.
They found Sonmez Alagoz, 58, who suffered a single stab wound on his chest.
NSW ambulance paramedics treated Mr Alagoz in the restaurant before he was taken to the Westmead Hospital, where he died.
Six people – two boys, 15 and 17 years old, two girls, 13 years old and two men, 18 and 19 years old – were arrested in Huizen in Werrington, South Penrith and Penrith after the incident.
A 15-year-old boy was accused of murder. He was refused bail and will appear before a children's job later today.
Alagoz is remembered as a caring and giving member of the Kingswood community.
“I don't know why it could happen to him,” a local told Daily Mail Australia.

'On many occasions when I was broke and hardly survived, he had let me eat free from his pizza store at the end of the night.
'I spent many evenings about life at the front of his store. He gave me a lot of good advice.
“He never assessed anyone on what they went through. My heart breaks to see this happen with a loving family. '
Nepean Area Command Detective Superintendent Trent King said that Mr Alagoz had sustained a 'horrible' injury.
“This was a gentleman who would discuss his company, led his company in the local environment and certainly did not deserve what happened,” he said.
