Elon Musk and his top staff from Doge continue to do damage in the typically safe spaces of federal government offices, because frightened employees are becoming more angry about his draconic cuts.
The crew of young technical engineers has already earned a nickname while making their way through the federal government and are looking for ways to save costs.
Employees of the General Services Administration refer to doge staff as 'The Bobs', referring to characters from the Cult Classic film 'Office Space.'
'The Bobs' refers to characters Bob Slydell and Bob Porter, played by actors John C. McGinley and Paul Willson in the film.
The pair of consultants is hired to make the company more efficient because they interview employees to explain their role in the company.
“What do you say you are doing here?” Asks one of the 'Bobs' in an interview with a confused employee, in an exchange that has become an online meme for a long time to describe the office culture.
Members of the DOGE team have been identified in reports such as Gavin Kliger, 25, Akash Bobba, 21, Ethan Shaotran, 22, and Luke Farritor, 23, Gautier Cole Killian, 24, together with Edward Coristine, 19.
Musk reportedly moved beds to the headquarters of the Office of Personal and Management, according to the New York Times, so that he and his staff can sleep there while they turn off their mission.

Musk has also told people that he is sleeping at the Doge head office, an office in the Executive Office building in the White House Complex and spent time in the Minister of War Suite in the same building.
He dragged on social media that he and his staff are willing to work at the weekend, giving them an advantage over the 'resistance' that grows in the federal government.
'Doge works 120 hours a week. Our bureaucratic opponents work optimistic 40 hours a week, “he wrote on X on Sunday. “That's why they lose so quickly.”
Many federal employees are reportedly shifting from fear to anger for those who have opposed the buy -out offer from Musk and have decided to stay in their job and to be confronted.
An EPA employee confirmed to the Huffington Post that they 'feel so demoralized', but that return to their offices helped their minds.
'[B]Eing in the office was so grounding with everyone. Ironically for the Trumpies will bring us back to the office to make us more moral, “the employee noticed.
The notorious 'fork in the way' e -mail sent by Musk who offers them benefits and health care paid until September when they resign, has become a rally cry for more stubborn federal employees.

“The one who wrote that e -mail really underestimated whom they sent it,” said a person. “I have a lot of feeling that the general consensus is that we are afraid, but we are burying.”
But reports note that more than 20,000 federal employees have taken the generous leave package and left their jobs.
The disruption has prosecuted government employees by the Trump government.
“I don't use this term lightly,” said a federal employee. “But it feels very fascist.”
