Philadelphia Eagles defending Tackle Jalen Carter has worried about his health for the Super Bowl by missing his media availability on Wednesday due to illness.
It is at least a small reason for concern for the Eagles before being confronted with the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans on Sunday.
Carter is a central part of the Eagles defense and if he is something other than completely healthy to compete, it would be a huge blow to the Nick Sirianni team.
The 23-year-old is in his second season with the Eagles, but has already been one of the most important men of Sirianni.
Speaking on Monday evening after the arrival of his team in Louisiana, Carter in Bullish Spirits was opposite Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
“One thing is to fire him,” Carter said when he asked how he could stop the triple Super Bowl winner.
'If we do that or pick him up from his game, I think we will have a good game.
“I am confident. Coach Vic (Eagles Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio) brought us here and I am pretty sure that he will finish us well. '
