Emergency services were called to the pizza stop on the Great Western Highway, near Kingswood train station, around 10.20 pm on Tuesday after Mr Alagoz, 58, was found with a single stab wound on his chest.
NSW ambulance paramedics treated him in the restaurant before he was taken to the Westmead Hospital, where he died.

No costs have been laid.
A nearby business owner told Daily Mail Australia that his death was a 'great shame'.
“I don't know why it could happen to him,” he said.
“He was such a sweet man. He and, I believe, his wife always gave lollipops to my children while waiting for our pizzas, “wrote a woman online.
“This is a putrid.”

“Such a beautiful sweet man, always hard work, so friendly,” added another woman.
“He was so beautiful,” said another.
“That man works so hard,” said a local man, “he just came back from vacation … cowards.”
Spt King said that Mr Alagoz had sustained a “horrible” injury.
“This was a gentleman who would discuss his company, his company Runde, in the area and certainly not deserved what happened,” he said.
“I understand that this gentleman was very close to this community for a long time. I can certainly empathize with every person who knows him, and his family. Everything was done that could possibly be done. '
Spt King said that the police “did not leave any stones unanimously” and investigated several lines of research.
Researchers will work to determine why the group of teenagers, who were previously known to the police, were near the store on Tuesday evening.
'The first studies indicated that those teenagers were in and around the area at the time. They are known to the police [but] Dintage not in the restaurant, “said Spt King.
Various police officers spoke with witnesses outside the store who were dropped off with police tape at night.
The crime scene has since been expanded to cover a row of shops next to the pizzadop, which extends about 100 meters further.
The police put the cones of the yellow place offense around the pizzeria and stuck a parking space across the road on Wednesday morning.
Drivers on the Grote Western highway saw detectives search the nearby area and talk to passers -by.
