A convicted Australian terrorist has bragged over converting fellow prisoners to Islam while he is behind bars, while also complaining about his treatment in prison.
The man, who cannot be identified because his insult took place when he was a minor, spent a number of years in Sydney's Cobham Youth Justice Center.
He told his story to the well-known extremist Wissam Haddad in an interview that was uploaded to video website Rumble on Thursday.
The man said he was radicalized in a public high school in West Sydney, through connections with friends.
“We had a few people from our school who had family who actually went abroad to fight (with Isis) and then I started to investigate, okay, what's going on?”
At the age of 14 he was arrested at Sydney airport who tried to go to Syria to become a member of ISIS.
The police seized his passport and the $ 5,000 in cash he had on him, but let him be free.
He then left the school and “locked myself in my room” and said that he accused himself through his SMS messages and the use of social media.

But he claimed that his efforts to promote Islam were correct.
“My da'wah (inviting people to Islam) I would not say it was the wrong way. I would never want to hope that my da'wah was ready for bad intentions.
'There was a lot of nonsense and many stupid things I used to do, say when sharing videos. It is real, really unnecessary.
“And you have to understand that the Kufar (non-Muslims) always keep an eye on you, they really want you to slide away, because they finance this with billions and billions of dollars and they have to show results.”
In 2016 he was arrested again, convicted of three terrorist elements and handed a punishment in Cobham Youth Justice Center, West -Sydney.
“I was in Juveniel for almost three years, and I know it and I have seen that there are many young people nowadays who are very reckless,” he said.
“If someone thinks oh I'm going to prison, I'm going to remember (the) Quran, I'm getting the best Muslim, it's absolutely nonsense.
“The prison in Western society is the worst for your Iman (belief).”

Seven terror delinquents were held in individual pods in the detention center, he said.
“We all gave Da'wah (inviting people to Islam) in each of our pods and everyone quickly became Muslim Muslim.
“And there was a point that I would say that, I don't want to throw a crazy number there, but I would say that about 70 percent of the youth (detention center) was a Muslim. 70 to 80 (percent), it was great. '
When the staff in the center tried to stop the conversions that he and his colleague terror delinquents continued with 'Da'wah in secret'.
The man had the problem with the staff who refused to serve halal meat to the Muslim converters.
Haddad was furious to hear about the treatment of the prisoners.
“They tell us that we live in a democracy and freedom of religion – it seems that the freedom does not exist behind closed doors,” he said, apparently forgetting that the prisoners were time for terrorists.

The Executive Council of Australian Judaism complains Haddad in the federal court about his sermons in the Al Madina Dawah Center in Bankstown, of which they claim that the racial discrimination act has been broken.
