President Donald Trump revealed on Friday that he was so happy with the work of the Ministry of Government Efficiency that he would ask Elon Musk to investigate other agencies into waste and fraud.
“I instructed him to look at education, to view the Pentagon … And unfortunately you will find a number of things that are pretty bad, but I don't think of proportionate, you will find something like we just saw,” said Trump during a press conference on Friday.
The Pentagon has failed seven audits in a row because it was unable to explain billions in public spending.
The attempt to eradicate government waste led by Muskus has struck fear in government employees and angry Democrats for its draconian cuts on federal financing programs.
The President also supported the call from vice-president JD Vance for the government to reduce DOG employee Marko Elez, a 25-year-old software engineer, who resigned after controversial racial posts appeared on social media.
“I'm with the vice president,” Trump said, after Vance confirmed that he had endorsed the idea.

Trump was also asked about Musk's statement on Friday that he loved the president as much as a straight man can love another man. ”
“What does the First Lady think about that?” asked Fox News reporter Peter Doocy.
“Oh, I think she will be in one way or another,” Trump replied.
