The cousin of serial killer Ivan Milat has taken over a sinister new hobby in prison that has delivered even the most paved criminals.
Matthew Milat, 32, who serves 43 years for the brutal Bijlmoord on his school friend, spends time studying witchcraft and sorcery and believes that he can pronounce spells, has claimed a reformed former prisoner.
Milat's behavior is considered so bizarre that his cell mate in the Lithgow Correctional Center, west of the NSW Blue Mountains, is forced to call prison officials for help at night.
“I don't know how, but in the Lithgow Prison Library – which contains maximum security gains – he has found a book about how to do witchcraft and spells – sorcery,” said one -off prison housing leader Nathan Paddison, who was locked up alongside Milat.
“His cell mate woke up in the morning to see Matthew in a circle that he made. The witchcraft book is there and symbols have been drawn on papers lying around. '
In 2010, Milat and his friend, Cohen Klein, lured their childhood friend David Auchtlonie to the State Forest of Interestless, New South Wales, buried Ivan Milat seven victims in the nineties.
Milat and Klein killed auchtlonie with the help of a double blade ax on what his 17th birthday was.
The couple, then 17 and 18 years old, recorded a video of their pathogenic crime and kept the vision like a souvenir of the murder.

Milat was imprisoned for 43 years with a non-conditional period of 30 years, while small up to 32 years were imprisoned with a minimum punishment of 22 years.
According to PadDison, Milat struggled with his long sentence, which in turn led him to satanic worship and an obsession with the teenage film from 1996, The Craft.
'In the movie they watch in the mirror and when they look long enough, the reflection moves and talks back.
“He was there for hours, just staring in that mirror and waited for moving. His cell mate called for help and Mathew was taken to the hospital.
“Later it was rumor that he took 300 muscle relaxants he saved and he told people that he was trying to” get to the zone “.
While PadDison admits that he never set up Milat's apparent sanctuary, it was all that someone had had for weeks.

“There was a man there, a member of the white power who had a birthday and (milat) makes him a watch with a swastika on it,” he said.
“He tried to come in with him. He always tries to brown the nose of the nose. He is very nice, overly friendly, overly nice.
