After initially taken the details of passengers about the promise of providing accommodation, WizzAir is said to have been withdrawn – Radeva obliges £ 200 for this bunk bed in a nearby hotel
“Initially we were told that there was a delay due to bad weather, and then two hours later the flight was canceled,” said Radeva.
'After waiting for another three hours at the airport until 1 o'clock in the morning, and providing our details for hotel accommodation, we were told that Wizzair could not eat, shelter or book us on another flight.
“We were told to make our own schemes and that they would reimburse us.”
Radeva, who was in Tromsø for a four-day break with friends, acted quickly to book an alternative Wizzair flight the next evening. Most of her colleague passengers were less fortunate and opened the app from the airline only to no longer available the option to book again.
“Some passengers managed to book a flight for Friday evening again, but most could or should not book with a completely different airline,” said Radeva. 'As you can imagine, Norway is extremely expensive. Eventually I paid £ 200 for a room for one night, only to sleep in a small bunk bed. '
Even that represented something of a coup. A woman for whom Radeva was chatting was planning to travel back to her native Hungary via London; Instead, she was forced to sleep at Tromsø airport before she started home 24 hours later.

Dissatisfied passengers stayed around at the airport after the cancellation of the flight, with many not sure what to do as soon as it became clear that they had no bed for the night
“Understandably, people were very frustrated,” said Radeva, who finally came home on Saturday morning at 4 am.
'I took some photos and videos, but security guided me and the more dramatic. Then I recorded something in secret.
'When I asked what to do if I could not afford the extra costs – book a new flight, pay for accommodation, eat and not know when the next available flight would be – they told me they could not' help 'and That it was 'my problem'.
'The only people who were provided with a room were a family with two babies.
“They have put us in line for hours to tell us that we should eventually” deal with it. ”
'Because it was after midnight, I immediately had to go to a hotel and hope they had a room because you can't book anything on the websites at that time. I could easily have stayed there. '
Wizzair has been approached for comment.
