Investigators believe that the murderer of a British couple was found lifeless in their home in the countryside of France, “certainly at one point is caught on the camera,” as an investigation into their death continues.
The bodies of Andrew and Dawn Searle, both of which were in the 60s, were discovered on Thursday afternoon by a dog lit in Les Pesquiès, south of Villefranche-de-Rouergue.
Mrs. Searle, whose son Hollyoaks actor Callum Kerr is found with head injury outside the house with jewelry spread over her.
In the meantime, Mr. Searle was reportedly discovered in the house.
Mr. Searle was a former financial researcher who was involved in the fight against organized crime, which led to fears that gangsters arranged a wild professional hit late at night and disappeared unseen.
But – despite the national location – the hamlet is surrounded by police and road video surveillance cameras that work 24 hours a day.
There are also private devices from the neighbors of the searles that often leave their property empty.
“It would be absolutely impossible to get in or out without being filmed,” said a source of research on Saturday.

“The chance is that a car was used, but even if someone succeeded in getting over the countryside, they were certainly caught on the camera at some point.”
Specialist officers appointed by prosecutors have already started investigating days of images in a radius of at least five miles around the suspected murder scene.
Gendarmes also raise questions about home-to-house and collect all available images.
“Criminals can take all types of precautions to hide their activities, but cameras are everywhere,” said the source.
“We are not dealing with Open Countryside Villefranche-de-Rouergue is a well-controlled municipality and cameras play a major role in the fight against crime.”
There were no arrests in connection with the suspected crime on Saturday.
The couple had moved from Scotland to France ten years ago after Mr. Searle had spent his work career with 'fight against organized crime and terrorism', according to his LinkedIn profile.
This included the adoption of large money waspyndicates in countries where sanctions were imposed, such as Russia.

Mr. Searle worked in the Financial Crime Assurance Arm of Barclay's Bank in Edinburgh, and at Standard Life, which is also located in the Scottish capital.

On Saturday the ownership of the couple and the surrounding country remained sealed.

A forensic doctor who works for the judicial authorities in Montpellier has arrived on the site on Thursday by helicopter and will probably release autopsy results on Monday.
Searle's house included a apartment with two bedrooms designed for paying guests.

There is a swimming pool outside and then thick forest that placed the house in an isolated position, away from the center of the hamlet, where around 100 people live.
Nicolas Rigot-Muller, the public prosecutor of Rodez, is in charge of the investigation, with judicial police and gendarmes who support him.
Mr. Searle was originally from West Sussex, while his wife came from Scotland.
The couple married in the summer of 2023.
Mrs. Searle's is former Soapster Callum Kerr. He is known for his role as PC George Kiss in Hollyoaks from Channel 4, which he appeared between 2020 and 2021.
The actor-like country singer is currently located in Nashville and had released his latest issue on Friday.

Orcibal, the mayor of the city, said that the pair was 'very well integrated' in the area and would regularly invite neighbors for a drink.
A neighbor told MailOnline: '[They] Were beautiful – hearing about this is extremely painful.
“They were extremely friendly, and always on their way. What happened has caused a lot of fear. '
