The grandmother of six was diagnosed with a huge hernia of four centimeters that made sure she was constantly sick when they ate or drank in October.
She had previously spoken about her fear that she would not live to see Christmas and had spotting skips spotting in a final attempt to survive.
In August last year, Mrs. Allan doctors begged to install a food tube to help her arrive before the procedure – which had to take place in Aberdeen due to a shortage of specialized surgeons that were available locally.
Only weeks later, the essential food tube was inserted through her nose, which means that vital nutrients could be pumped into its small intestine while sleeping.

Mrs. Allan is on a strict diet that is currently only liquid food allowed.
She hopes that this will help her to eat normal meals again in the near future.
But although Mrs. Allan can't wait to put in Sunday roasts and fish and chips, there is one snack that she will avoid at all costs.
She said: 'I don't want another skip in my mouth as long as I live.
“They kept me alive, it's still crazy to think so. But I have a hatred that I have with them. I tried wotsits and quavers, but the only chips that would remain, had been skipped. '
