Travis Kelce is really considering after the Super Bowl after the Super Bowl, despite his claims earlier this week that he could play for the Chiefs of Kansas City for another three years.
According to a Bombshell report from NFL -Sinsider Ian Rapoport on Saturday evening, the eve of the Super Bowl, Kelce has still not decided that he wants to continue to play than Sunday -even though he would say that he would be back on Monday.
RapoPort adds that Kelce, 35, could let his spirit wave through the outcome of Sunday's game in New Orleans against the Philadelphia Eagles. Whatever he decides, RapoPort says that Kelce will announce his decision before March 12, that is when the free desk starts.
RapoPort said with NFL.com: 'It may in fact be the last time that we see Travis Kelce (this weekend) on a football field.
'Here is my understanding of the situation – what told me, Travis Kelce is undecided if he wants to play in the 2025 season.
“He said he believes that he still has a lot of good football left. He said he imagines that he is playing for the chiefs of Kansas City. But he has not been final.
“He will probably take some time after the game and judge his future.”
The claims will probably be the fans of Chiefs the evening before the team shoots at the Super Bowl history, anesthetized by trying to become the first team that wins three straight titles.
Earlier this week, Kelce asked where he will see himself in three years.
'Hopefully still play football. I think it's great to do this. I like to get to work every day. I feel that I still have a lot of good football left, “he said on February 3.
“We will see what happens. I know I have set up myself for other opportunities in my life. That has always been the goal, knowing that football only lasts so long.
“For the most part, I plan to become a head of Kansas City and play football.”
It felt like the case was closed off, but it now seems that Kelce will only show his hand after the game. Kelce may have tried to spread the speculation about his future from here to concentrate on Sunday's game.
If he brings down the curtain on his 12 -year career, Kelce will do it as one of the best tight ends – if not the very best – to have played the game.
Win of Lose, the Super Bowl from Sunday, brings Kelce to the half point of the two -year -old deal that he signed with the chiefs in 2024, worth $ 14 million per season.
But Kelce is to earn more millions through his life outside the field, where his fame has quickly expanded from his relationship with Taylor Swift.
He made trips to the acting world in football outside season and also organized a quiz show on Amazon. Last year he drew a new deal for his new Heights -Podcast, in addition to older brother Jason, worth around $ 100 million.
