An older couple died after a fire tore through a house early this morning.
Officers were called to the fire at 7.55 am on Adam Street, Abertillery in Blaenau Gwent County, Zuid -Wales.
Teams of South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, Wales Air Ambulance and Welsh Ambulance Service also attended the Inferno.
A man and a woman unfortunately died on the spot, the Gwent police confirmed.
The relatives of the couple have been informed and a report is drawn up for the coroner on the fire, which is not treated by officers as suspicious.

Detective inspector Steve Davies said: 'We can confirm that a man and a woman, both in the nineties, died on the site of the fire.
'Their close relatives have been informed and our thoughts are currently with them.
'After a joint investigation by the Fire and Rescue Service by Gwent Police and South Wales, the cause of the fire is not suspicious and a report will be drawn up for the coroner.
“We want to thank the community for their support.”
