A man died after a serious crash between a car and a truck with milk.
The vehicles clashed on the Bruce Highway in Port Curtis, near Whyte RD on the edge on Rockhampton, about 3.20 hours on Monday.
The truck rolled and flew on fire, but the driver was not physically injured.
They were brought to the Rockhampton Hospital for assessment.
The driver of the car, a man, was seriously injured in the Smash and died on the spot.
Four crews of the Queensland fire brigade attended the crash, which blocked the traffic in both directions.
Firefighters were the fire at 4.20 hours control.
The highway remained closed later on Monday morning and is expected to stay for a few hours.
Distractions on Gavial Gracemere RD and the Burnett Highway, but authorities asked motorists to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
