Tom Krause is installed as the tax assistant secretary of the Treasury Department, to replace an old career official.
The Silicon Valley Executive is an ally of Elon Musk and is responsible for managing the nation's payment system.
He will work closely with the six baby face people who have been selected by Musk to cut the fat on government spending.
His first days have already been marred by controversy and a lawsuit on claims that he got inappropriate access to the payment system and tried 'unlawfully freezing of the payment instructions of the congress'.
Krause is a smart businessman who is CEO of Cloud Software Group, a holding company that follows the merger between software companies Citrix and Tibco.

Krause's approach brought him into more than one legal battle after he refused to pay an invoice for the remaining Citrix merchandise and a separate account for financial services of another company. Both cases were arranged outside the court.
