Elsie Dot Stancombe was never intended to attend the dance class with Taylor Swift theme that ended in tragedy in Southport last year.
On July 29, 2024, Vile child murderer Axel Rudakubana, then 17, stormed the class of innocent young girls inside with a kitchen knife, cut and stabbing to everyone on his path.
Seven -year -old Elsie was one of the three girls brutally murdered by Rudakubana.
Now Elsie's mother Jenni Stancombe, 35, revealed that her daughter was not even in class and was alone because her caring teacher Leanne Lucas had saved her a place.
When the mother of one of Elsie's school friends asked if the seven -year -old would go to the dance workshop, Jenni realized that she had no ticket and knew it was sold out.
Her daughter was a huge Taylor Swift fan, so her mother reported Leanne Lucas, the teacher who organized the class, to ask if there were any spaces left.
Jenni expanded in tears and revealed Leanne's answer that has been haunting her since then: 'No problem. I will always have a place for Elsie. '
No one could ever have imagined what the saving of that place would mean the extreme horror or in mind that Rudakubana had unleashed young girls who had to sing those songs and make bracelets.
Jenni said to The Sunday Times: “I just always think she had given it away … but then I would never have desired this on anyone else.”

Elsie with her mother Jenni, father David and younger sister Rosie, three years old. The photo was released by Elsie's family on the morning of her funeral in August – which they wanted to be known as 'Elsie's Special Day'
Arriving at the dance class, Jenni said she took Elsie up and was greeted by Mrs. Lucas, who picked up the little girl and hug her.
Just before noon, Jenni said she received a phone call from Elsie's friend's mother and told her that “something terrible” had happened and she had to come to the scene.
Jenni and her husband unlocked her house and got into their cars and jumped through every reading light before they left their vehicle in the middle of the road.
On the spot, Elsie David's father heard a person who said there had been two fatalities – who later turned out to be three. Elsie died in the dance studio.
Elsie never wanted her parents to be alone, always register to go to the stores or to take the garbage cans with her father, even during the iPad time on a Friday – a special treat.
The seven -year -old mother said she was always extremely careful when it came to Elsie's safety, refused to take risks or to jeopardize her.
She would feel uncomfortable to let her child drive to school on a scooter in case she hurt herself and cut her food into small pieces for fear.

Bebe's grieving parents also spoke with the Sunday Times and told how they could say goodbye to their little girl before the funeral with the help of Alder Hey Hospital's mourning suite.
The couple spent a week with Bebe, who wore pajamas, while the room was softly illuminated by night lights – as if she slept.
The parents said they were able to hold her hand, let the family say goodbye to her and even baptized Beebe – something they wanted to do for several years.
After the attack, the grieving families have comfort in the support of the royal family – where the Princess of Wales visits them in her first public involvement since the completion of chemotherapy.
Bebe's father said that Catherine's visit meant a lot to them, and the princess gave a 'powerful' message that gave them comfort.
The moving attack caused months of riots in the summer of 2024, also in large cities such as Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and London.
The prime minister sentenced 'extreme right -wing criminals' while the police clashed with protesters in the aftermath of the tragedy.
By December last year, more than 400 people were convicted of offenses with regard to the condition.
