A teenager who died when the car in which he was a passenger in a river first depicted.
Joe Maddy, 15, from Irchester, was killed at the horror crash in Wellingborough, Northhamptonshire, just after 11 p.m. on Friday.
The 18-year-old driver of the Toyota was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He suffered minor injuries and was saved awaiting further questions.
The police said that the silver Toyota Hilux Joe came off the road and collapsed the Nene River in the Dijk van Wellingborough.
Emergency services rushed to the stage and tried to save Joe from the water, but he died later in the hospital.
Today his family thanked the people they offered at the weekend.
They said, “We want to thank everyone for their friendly words on this very sad time.”
The Van Joe family is currently supported by specially trained family businesses, the police of Northamptonshire have said.

The strength has also appealed to anyone who has witnessed the collision or possibly has Dash-Cam images to come forward.
