Two charged after female soldier mysteriously found murdered with 68 stab wounds in Tennessee apartment

Two people are finally accused of the mysterious murder of a young female soldier, found in a puddle of blood with 68 stab wounds in a dormitory.

The police arrested two suspects – including the victim's own husband – in the horrific murder of private – first class Katia Dueñas -aguilar, who was found dead on May 18, 2024.

Sofia Rodas, 35, is accused of murder in the first degree and tampered with evidence, the Clarksville police announced in a press release.

In the meantime, the victim's husband, Reynaldo Salinas Cruz, 40, is confronted with accusations of tampering with evidence in connection with the death of his wife.

The two suspects were extradited to Clarksville on Friday after they were held on non -related federal charges.

They received their sealed charges in the prison of Montgomery County.
