A woman is accused of the murder of a high -flying lawyer in Boston who was found to death and was bound with duct tape on board his houseboat.

Nora Nelson, 24, is accused of the first degree murder of Joseph Donohue, 65, who was discovered on board the ship on board on Sunday evening around 10:45 am.

She did not argue during a court on Friday, where she shouted that it was: “The first time I've ever heard of this event in my house,” Fox19 reports.

Donohue was found dead with several stab wounds, while his pet dog was also discovered in the water, said researchers.

Prosecutors described how Donohue's family worried when they did not hear from him for two days and called for a welfare check.

When the police came to his boat, they were greeted by Nelson, who said her name was 'Casey' and inquired that officers were in a strip club, researchers said.

The court heard that she was trying to exclude the police and began to clean up frantically until the came in.

“When he opened the sliding doors in the bedroom that led to a patio area, he saw a little later being identified as the 65-year-old Joseph Donohue's body wrapped in a white and blue covering, secured with duct tape and applied with weights,” officer From justice Rita Muse said.

She added that cleaning and blood was found at different locations. A knife that was the murder weapon was also found in the water.

The police claim that traces of Nelson's pink fingernails were embedded in the victim's chest.

Nelson was initially mentioned as a person of interest in the horrible matter.

While researchers investigated the young woman, originally from Tennessee, they discovered that she had several warrants for her arrest of non -related incidents that go back to 2023.

She is currently confronted with charges in Texas because she had given the police a fake ID and was accused of attacking her ex-boyfriend in Boston.

In September 2023 she was confronted with charges of abuse with a dangerous weapon on a person over 60, who threatened to commit a crime and malicious destruction of ownership.

And only a month after that incident, Nelson reportedly pushed her ex-boyfriend and broke several items in his apartment after she refused to move when they separated, a police report said.

She had also reportedly thrown a television remote control to her ex in another attack, and he accused her of owing him more than $ 300,000, the police said.

Residents in the marina of Charlestown, where Donohue was found dead (his houseboat was depicted) said that the police swarmed the area on Sunday evening and the victim described as 'friendly' and 'known' in the area

Nelson's lawyers said this week that she has no criminal record in Massachusetts and graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in computer science. They said she says she is innocent.

The Donohue family said they were “deeply saddened by this unimaginable loss.”

'Joe was a great family member, a cherished friend and a trusted colleague. Always generous and friendly, he devoted his life and career to helping others. He is loved and will be deeply missed, “said the family, according to the Boston Globe.
