Diane Abbott has called on all members of the 'racist and sexist' WhatsApp group to resign from positions in the Labor party.
It comes after Oliver Ryan became the second MP that stopped membership of the group.
The first was Andrew Gwynne, who lost his ministerial role and was suspended by Labor after the post on Sunday, messages to Downing Street's attention during the weekend.
The police confirmed that they had received complaints about the WhatsApp messages and had admitted a non-criminal hatred incident while making 'first questions'.
Yesterday it was revealed that Mr. Gwynne made racist jokes about veteran Labor MP Diane Abbott.
Mrs. Abbott responded by calling for any work members involved “Get rid of any position they have in the birth.”
“They were offensive remarks,” she told Sky News, “and in 2025 people should know better than going for that kind of racist and sexist verb.”
She said that the party 'did the right one' by suspending two members of parliament, but she said she was 'very sad' to see Mr. Gwynne involved in the scandal, adding “He's better than this.”

Burnley MP Oliver Ryan is investigated by the Labor Party for comments in a WhatsApp group
In the private chat, called Trigger Me Timbers, Mr. Ryan participated with others in apparently homophobic jesses while they joked about a fellow workroom that was gay.
In a series of posts, Mr. Ryan also made cruel comments about a local Labor leader and lifelong Lollipop man in Greater Manchester named Colin Bailey.
Members of the WhatsApp group also show that they have exchanged racist, sexist and anti-Semitic messages.
A Labor spokesperson said: 'As part of our WhatsApp group research, Oliver Ryan is administratively suspended as a member of the Labor Party.
'As soon as this group was brought to our attention, a thorough investigation was immediately started and this process was underway in accordance with the rules and procedures of the Labor Party.
“Fast action will always be taken where individuals have violated the high standards of them as members of the Labor Party.”
The Tories demanded that Sir Keir Starmer is now dismissing both Mr. Ryan and Mr Gywnne from Labor and “Show some leadership.”
But a senior work figure avoided earlier whether those members involved in the WhatsApp group should be kicked out of the party forever.

Oliver Ryan, the Burnley MP depicted with Sir Keir Starmer, has lost the Labor Whip in parliament and will now be independent in the Lower House
Mr. Ryan is one of the youngest members of parliament and was an labor councilor for nine years before he was elected in parliament last year.
He is an old friend of Mr. Gwynne, who posted messages in which he mocked a pensioner who did not vote for the birth and wanted her death before the next elections of the council.
The retired person from Stockport had written her labor council and said she had not voted for him, but still asked for his help about BIN collections.
The councilor, David Sedgwick, posted the letter about the group, on which Mr Gwynne posted a fake answer on behalf of Mr Sedgwick. He said: 'Dear resident, f *** you bake. I was re -elected and without your voice.
'Screw you, Dave. PS Hopefully you kicked it through the total outs [council elections]. '
Mr. Gwynne was immediately fired as a minister and also suspended for the Labor Party awaiting an investigation.
A spokesperson for NO10 said: 'The prime minister is determined to maintain high behavioral standards in public office. He will not hesitate to take action against a minister who does not meet these standards, as he has in this case. '
In the meantime, Mr. Ryan, who is gay himself, made inappropriate comments about a Labor Member of Parliament, whom we have chosen not to mention.
In February 2019, one member describes the MP as' a big chic lazy oaf. Actually correct but misses pizzzazz '.

Mr. Ryan answers: 'the straight choice', seems to suggest that he is gay.
Subsequently, CLLR Sedgwick adds: '#Sodomitefor ****', stating the MP constituency.
Mr. Ryan says: 'A movement that we can all find out … time and time again,' seem to refer to gay sex.
Mr. Ryan asked Mr Gwynne: “Did you caught ***?” With the help of the nickname of the MP.
Mr. Gwynne answers: 'Is it a STI [sexually transmitted infection]? '
Mr. Ryan is openly gay, but the Labor Member of Parliament who is mocked in the group has never publicly discussed his sexuality and is not known as gay.
Mr. Ryan also mocked a senior employer, the 61-year-old Mr Bailey, who is vice-chairman of the Audshaw branch of the party.
Mr Bailey, a lifelong Lollipop-Man who has been a member of the Labor Party for 42 years, was mocked as 'Colin C*Mface' by Mr. Ryan and Mr. Gwynne.
In February 2019, when the group discussed a recent labor victory, Mr. Sedgwick asked the group: “How did Colin C*Mface took it?”

Moments later, Mr. Ryan refers to him as: “Dove Colin C*Mface.”
When he is aware of the annoying name rolling, Mr. Bailey said last night: “I'm very angry about this. I thought Oliver was a friend because I did some work for him.
“That's the thing, you help these people, and they put you in the back.”
He added: “My daughter reported this to the police today.”
Trigger Me Timbers was founded in 2019 and consists of at least two members of parliament, more than a dozen Labor council members, as well as high party officials in the Greater Manchester region.
