The artist who raised a double Sudanese-Palestinian flag during the super bowl-rest time show of Kendrick Lamar says that he does not regret the stunt, which exposed enormous security failure for a large event attended by the US president.
Zül-Qarnain Nantambu confirmed that he unfolded the banner, decorated with the words 'Sudan' and 'Gaza' in New Orleans on Sunday evening as a message of solidarity towards the victims of those conflicts.
Nantambu stood on a car that was used as a plug for Lamar's show and held the flag up before he ran around the field and was then struggled by security staff and cast out of the stadium.
He is banned from NFL stadiums and events for life, but has not yet been charged with the protest, which was seen by millions of people and underlined a huge decline in security for events organizers.
Nantambu says he was hired as a 'participant' in the show and was part of the preparations for Super Bowl in the past two weeks, so that questions raised about the size of the control process.
He says that he deliberately has discouraged his flag and at the same time other banners were shown as part of Lamar's set, but that the celebrated rapper knew nothing about Nantambu's activism.
'It wasn't part of it [Lamar’s] plan. I don't want to attribute that because he didn't know anything about it, “Nantambu told DailyMail.com.
Political protests are forbidden at NFL and other important sporting events.

The self -proclaimed 'Freedom Fighter' insists that his protest was 'not political', but rather a sign of solidarity with suffering Muslims in those hotspots, while repeatedly said that he was inspired to act by his faith in Islam.
'Praise to be Allah. Because of the grace and permission of Allah it was me, “said Nantambu.
The protest was a way to show “solidarity with the people who suffer there,” he added.
“We lead a life of luxury compared to what they are going through,” he said.
Nevertheless, in other posts on social media, Nantambu has taken a harder boundary against Israel, in which the 'liberation' of the entire region is called, which reflects the feelings of many pro-Palestine activists.
Nantambu is a bearded hip-hop artist, filmmaker, fashion designer and self-proclaimed 'Freedom Fighter', who talks about politics and is a Muslim in modern America in his YouTube channel Open Book platform.
He often places photos of himself with his sons and wears vintage clothing in military style.
After 15 months of fighting, his protest came between Israeli troops and Palestinian militants who have destroyed the coastal area of the coast, and because Sudan's bloody civil war is raging for almost two years.
“I wanted to show that we are all united, and they are loved,” said the 43-year-old resident of New Orleans.
“They are loved here by believers. They are prayed here by believers. And we are in solidarity and unity with them, praying for improving that situation. '
The apparent convenience with which Nantambu could bring his message to a crowd of millions is generally seen as a shame for the security teams and organizers of the iconic event.
Nantambu has posted about his demonstration on social media and has praised because he stands up for Muslims and draws attention to the conflicts.
The Instagram account Nola4Palestine praised Nantambu and said that “his single brave act on the internet led like no multi-million dollar Zionist propaganda ever.”

'Shout at this brave Muslim activist from New Orleans! Alhamdulilah he was released without a charge after he had been tackled by NFL employees. Now show him some love for the forcing the whole world to talk about it. '
But Nantambu says he is not looking for the spotlight.
“I'm just a servant,” he said. “I don't want to be elevated. I don't want to be praised. '
The NFL confirmed that the demonstrator was part of the 400-member field cast.
“The individual will (be) forbidden for life from all NFL stadiums and events,” said NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy in an e -mail statement.
The NFL said: “The individual hid the item on his person and revealed it late in the show” and that “no one who was involved in production was aware of the intention of the individual.”
ROC Nation, the entertainment company that produced the show, said that the law was “neither planned or part of production and was never in any rehearsal.”
The New Orleans police said in a statement that “law enforcement works to determine the applicable costs in this incident.”
“No arrest or summons has been issued,” said the statement.
“The NOPD continues to collaborate with NFL and the half -time production team to determine every tire that the person had with the rest time show.”
The show took place without interruption and it didn't seem as if the person was shown on the broadcast of Lamar's performance.
