The train station of the Sydney town hall was flooded while a wild rainbomb destroys the city.
More than 77 mm has fallen in just one hour – closing the airport, causing forens chaos and a warning for residents to stay inside.
Shocking video images shows a wave of water that runs through the stairs of the town hall station, causing parts of the station to flood.
Floods at the station were only temporary and trains were not interrupted, but some services on the T9 Northern, T7 Olympic Park and Central Coast/Newcastle lines are delayed because of 'localized floods'.
Sydney trains said the delays are small and have to clean up as the rain illuminates.
“Pay attention to stations extra careful, and when we go in and out, surfaces can be smooth when it is wet,” said Sydney trains.
The serious thunderstorm came to the west over the Blue Mountains and hit the city around noon, linging intense rainfall that led to flashy floods, giving the NSW SES urgent warnings.
The SES has specifically advised people in the following areas to stay indoors due to the dangerous circumstances: Parramatta, Richmond, Liverpool, Brooklyn, Maroota and Mona Vale.

The Bureau of Meteorology warned that the 'very dangerous thunderstorm' would probably cause life -threatening flash floods in parts of the Gosford/Wyong and Sydney areas.
In Horsley Park, West -Sydney, 77.6 mm of rain was recorded in just one hour.
It is expected that it will continue all day, making traveling dangerous.
The traffic is influenced by the storm, with significant floods reported in Cecil Hills, with Elizabeth Drive under water on Wallgrove Road on the M7.

Two vehicles, including a van, are stuck in the flood water.
The M4 is influenced in both directions, with slow moving traffic from Homebush Bay Drive to the Cumberland Highway.
Cars were also seen teams due to high floods in Marrickville in the indoor west of the city.
Roads were also flooded in Riverstone, North-West Sydney. And the city of Harden, regional NSW, was covered with piles of large hailstones.
Foxtel had fallen for residents in the city because of the storm, which interrupted super bowl coverage for local fans.
Further thunderstorms could hit Sydney in the late afternoon and evening on Monday, and the Bureau of Meteorology also predicts further, less serious storms on Tuesday.
Sydneysiders was also told to be aware of harmful gusts of wind, which could be more than 90 km/h on Monday, and the possibility of hailstones greater than two centimeters.
