The FBI is now anticipating a personnel reduction in the midst of the pressure of President Donald Trump to save money and to weigh the bureaucracy over the entire federal government.
The Trump government has asked the FBI – and all other agencies – to hand over the names of employees who are still on trial for a period in the federal government that usually lasts the first full year of employment.
They also want the agency to turn a list of everyone who has been to the FBI for less than two years.
Although this order from the White House Office of Personnel Management to all 'heads and acting heads of departments and agencies' went into the federal government, fears in the FBI were fueled that they were drawn up for dismissals.
Concerns were made worse because of efforts to collect names from FBI employees who worked on all cases with regard to the Capitol Riot of January 6, 2021.
On Friday, a judge signed under an agreement that prohibits the public release of the names of these employees.
Probasing employees have limited rights to appeal against their dismissal, making them an important target for Elon Musk's efforts to erase the house within the federal government.
And the Washington Field Office intends to provide the list, together with justification for its probation employees.
Civil servants say NBC News that the directive is a major distraction for agents who have their signs full since Trump was back in office.

The Washington Field Office of the FBIS is preparing to offer a list of his employees on a probationary period with a justification for their employment to prevent President Trump's expected worksteats from
“We live a nightmare and are now so derived from the real work,” claimed a federal law enforcement officer. “It's crazy. Our people are a mess. We do our best to take care of them, but it's hard to stay stable if you don't know what the next one is. '
Another said, “If their goal was to paralyze the police, they have achieved it.”
The request for this list applies to all 55 field offices in the US, as well as the offices of Washington, the DC of the FBI.
The FBI sent the memo in a reflection of the OPM directive that was sent in the first week of the administration on the basis of Trump's executive orders to reduce the federal workforce.
Musk has had a hard -handed involvement in OPM, because the administration is looking for a place for his Department of Government Efficiency (Doge) to operate.
The Senate Judges Committee will vote later this week about the relocation of the appointment of Kash Patel to be the next FBI director of the Senate for a complete floor voice.

Patel is controversial among the democratic members of the panel, but with little to no Republican opposition will probably sail to confirm as soon as his nomination reaches the senate floor.
Democrats fear that Patel has a 'enemies' list that Trump wants the FBI to focus and punish under his leadership.
They say that this would include FBI agents who worked on January 6.
The vast FBI probe was the largest in the history of the agency with 1500 defendants. But they were increased last month when Trump signed a major executive order.
Already 40,000 federal employees have chosen to accept Trump's buyout offer to voluntarily stop and be paid until September 2025.
Another 10,000 are located without work after Musk, with Trump's agreement, USAID closes completely and ordered foreign employees at home within 30 days.
Subsequently, this week, the Ministry of Interior Security dismissed four officials who are responsible for FEMA finances after it had distributed $ 59 million in payments to luxury hotels in New York City to accommodate illegal migrants.
More cuts on staff will be expected in the coming weeks, with DHS secretary Kristi also mentioning how her department was blown up.
