A receptionist from Harley Street claims that she was physically attacked by the late Evelyn de Rothschild – who sent flowers as an apology after the police did not serve him.

The high-end dental practice was behind the reception in the London Clinic when the bankingfulcoon, at the time 89 years old, came in to be treated for toothache.

Reminding the 'frightening' experience of the mailonline, the woman said not mentioned under the condition of anonymity that she had greeted Rothschild at the entrance before he asked that he set up a PPE face mask.

“It was the height of the Covid 19 Pandemie, I asked him to put on his mask and he placed it in the wrong way,” said the receptionist.

But after it had politely made the request that in October 2020 the standard procedure for all patients had been, things took a dark turn.

She bravely said to MailOnline: “He immediately became aggressive, shouted in my face and shouted at me to” keep your mouth shut while his personal assistant just lags behind. “

It comes after the influential British financier was accused of sexual abuse and intimidation by several women who worked with him at NM Rothschild in the 1990s.

While the 5ft 3in receptionist was shocked for the 6ft 4 in former adviser of Queen Elizabeth II, she continued to ask him to follow the protocol to protect the other patients and staff in the clinic.

But according to the dental practice, Rothschild exploded in a flurry of anger, pushed her out of the way and stormed past the clinic.

Two other women had also been to the room at the time, the receptionist said, but “they were too afraid to step in.”

“The dentist still saw him after that, and I thought that was disgusting what he had just done to me,” said the receptionist, adding that Rothschild was not a regular patient in the clinic.

While he continued to his appointment, the receptionist continued to “cry and shaken” before talking to her manager and to inform her that she was going to submit a report to the police about the attack.

She filed a complaint with Charing Cross Police Station, but was stunned and disappointed by their response.

The police are said to have told her that they could do little, because it was reportedly the first violation of Rothchild.

“Only two to three months later, the police came back with an update,” she said.

“They told me they had spoken to him, they had gone to his house, but all they could do was warn him with a common attack.”

According to the receptionist, little was done because of the immense power of Rothchild within the bank and the British establishment, and because it was reportedly his first violation.

Four months later, in February 2021, the destroyed woman had a shift during practice when she received a letter from the multi -millionaire.

In the letter, seen by MailOnline, dated 11 February 2021, Rothschild apologized for his behavior prior to his treatment for 'serious toothache'.

He wrote: 'I want to offer you my sincere apologies for the need I caused you during my visit.

'I was certainly not going to damage you or to alert you in any way.

'I am deeply regretted that I upset you and hope you can accept my apology.

“I would really like to send you flowers as a sign of my regret, but first wanted to check whether you would be willing to accept them.”

Rothschild ended the note and said that if the receptionist was willing to accept the flowers, he would ensure that they would be sent to her workplace before he apologized again.

But the woman rejected the flowers and described the action as 'offensive' after the test he had endured.

Rothschild's lawyer had also visited the receptionist after the letter, but she told him challenging to 'light them'.

“The practice had sent me home immediately that day, I wanted to cancel my job that it was so frightening,” she said. “But I couldn't, I had bills to pay and so I just had to stay.”

MailOnline has approached the with Police for comment.

The clinic worker explained that she had decided to speak out against the 'frightening' financier in the light of shocking allegations that have now surfaced two years after his death at the age of 91.

According to several sources, including eight people with direct knowledge of events, Sir Evelyn would have exploited his position as chairman of NM Rothschild to focus on junior female employees.

Women have emerged with disturbing claims that he has subjected them to serious sexual attack and intimidation at the bank's head office, just a stone's throw from the Bank of England.

A woman claimed that she was violently attacked by him while she worked as a young staff member.

Another claimed that he put his hands in her top and underwear to grab her.

A third told that he was forced to perform a sexual act on him while he was sitting on his desk.

It is claimed that Sir Evelyn would 'take his choice' from junior female staff, lure them with promises of career development before they subject them to unwanted sexual progress.

Women who resist or tried to worry were reportedly rejected and received financial settlements in exchange for their silence.

The Rothschild was one of the most powerful figures in British banking, which led Nm Rothschild for more than 20 years and grew the company's assets from £ 40 million to £ 4.6 billion.

He was knighted in 1989 and became a close confidant of the royal family, who often attended events such as Royal Ascot at the Queen.

In addition to banking, he served in the boards of the economist and the Daily Telegraph, who further confirmed his influence in British society.

His enormous wealth and connections meant that few dared to challenge him.

A woman claimed that he would judge whether a female employee was 'well connected' before he decided if she was 'honest play'.

Another insider described NM Rothschild under his leadership as 'his kingdom' where he exercised 'absolute rule'.

The allegations raise serious questions about the workplace culture within the Rothschild Banking Empire.

Sources suggest that misconduct has been uncontrolled by Sir Evelyn for decades, with some employees being aware of financial settlements to women who had been harassed or attacked.

When I recently contacted the Guardian, lawyers for Rothschild & Co, who followed NM Rothschild, stated that a 'first assessment of their data' nothing 'found nothing' with regard to the allegations.

However, they also admitted that they missed enough information to investigate further.

A spokesperson for the bank said: “We deal with every complaint quickly and decisively. We price the culture that we have developed over the years, and there is no room for such behavior in our culture. '

However, the emerging allegations suggest that victims in the past had little support or use in confronting powerful figures such as Sir Evelyn.
