A pedophile school teacher and rugby coach who recorded photos of his female students and stored indecent images of children on his work laptop are imprisoned.
Former coach Richard Read, 43, kept images of child abuse and extreme pornography on the laptop that was published by the school in Macclesfield, Cheshire, where he worked.
Read was first arrested in July 2022 for a non -related violation for which the police did not take further action.
As part of their research, however, officers seized him, including a personal coded hard disk and the laptop.
The police found the most serious 'category A' images of children on the devices, as well as extreme pornography.
The ex -teacher denied the possession of the images and claimed that someone else had gained access to the device – but he was accused of possession of indecent images of children in September 2023.
Further research into his encrypted hard disk was aware of female students who apparently had taken read on school grounds while working at school.
Officers also found videos that read read at home in his bathroom, without their knowledge.

He was arrested again in September 2024 and accused the new violations the following month.

He was imprisoned for two years on Friday 7 February.
The detective of the Cheshire Police Alison Shields police said: 'First, we want to praise the victims of Voyeurism for their courage during this investigation and the subsequent judicial trial.
'Read a position of trust and should have been someone where children could go to support. Instead, he hid a distorted secret.
“He even had the guts to save some indecent images of children on a laptop issued at school.
'Fortunately, the shocking crimes of read were discovered and our officers worked hard to collect a catalog of evidence against him and bring him to the courts.
“I hope that this will also encourage everyone who may have been the victim of similar violations to come forward and report it to us.”
