Gersiede guests say they were left in tears after arriving at a holiday to find diapers, sanitary towels and broken glass, spread over the garden.
Colin Yexley, 61, and his sister Jackie, 70, said that the building in Ramsage, Kent, looked 'beautiful' online – so put their name down for two weeks.
But on arrival they say they discovered it in a state – with waste everywhere.
Photos from the back of the house show what seems to be empty food and drink containers spread over the patio, along with overflowing bins.
The guests also say that the freezer was broken and the washing machine was missing at the holiday home with three beds- so that they brought back £ 1,300 for fourteen days.
When they approached, the holiday owners were blamed for making the mess – and insisted that the problems were tackled as quickly as possible.
They also said that they organize guests in different characteristics and are consistently assessed properly.
But Colin said: 'If you book something, you expect that it is at least a good standard, but this was devilish – it was actually not suitable for the goal.

'The garden was full of waste, black bags everywhere, sanitary towels, diapers and broken bottles.
“The light was on in the fridge, but when I went to the freezer, it just smelled as soon as I opened the door.”
Colin and Jackie live in a mobile home in Ripple, near Deal, but because of the rules of the Caravan Park they have to leave a few weeks every 12 months because they cannot stay there all year round.
For the past four years they have found somewhere to stay and they have been happy every time – but they were very disappointed about what they thought last week.
Colin added: 'My sister thought it was all her fault, that she had done something wrong, but it looks absolutely beautiful on the website. We cried our eyes.
'You expect that if you go on vacation, wherever it is, to look a bit like the pictures.
“If I were to buy a car, I would expect to be on doors and wheels.”
The problems have since been tackled, where the waste has been erased and new devices have been mounted.

Colin added: 'The guy she sent around did everything – a new washing machine, a brand new fridge freezer and a hoover.
“He went on, but this didn't even need this on the first day, let alone day six.
'It is a lot of money for pensioners. We accept that we have to go away for two weeks every year and we have dogs – we expect to pay a little more – but there must be a standard that people have to stay on. '
The owners of the vacation said: 'Unfortunately there were waste and seagulls at the trash before he arrived, so there had clearly been no one on the day Mr. Yexley arrived.
'Regarding the Fridge Freezer, we have never had a problem with it before, but unfortunately it is dying.
'This was tackled as quickly as possible.
“He wanted a welcome package, but that's not something we do.”
