More shocking SMS messages from the Staatstrooper who built up Karen Read's murder process have been unveiled in a new court application.
Trooper Michael Proctor led the investigation into reads then friend John O'Keefe's death in January 2022 until the mistrial of her case was announced on July 1, 2024.
He was transferred from the police unit, after inappropriate and offensive SMS messages he had been read about and friends were dug up in the court.
Now, text messages he sent on the day the mistrial was declared – this time to be assistant – officer of Justice Adam Lally – in a new request seen by the Boston Globe.
Hours after the mistrial was declared, Proctor wrote to the assistant Da: “Yes, no ** h *** Jackson looked at the latest explanation of Read's Defense Lawyer, Alan Jackson.
He also texted the assistant -and said: “Like us all the expectations and fear of the verdict are all about us.”
It is the last turn in the murder case, after Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court had ruled on Tuesday that Read could be packed on all the same charges about the death of her Boston Police Officer friend.
Officers of Justice have tried Read, a former deputy professor at the Bentley College, to try again for murder in the second-degree, manslaughter and leaving the scene of a crime.

They accused her of ramming in O'Keefe with her SUV while she was drunk in January 2022 before they left him in a snowstorm. An autopsy found that the old agent died of hypothermia and blunt strength trauma.
Read's lawyers have portrayed her as the victim and say that O'Keefe was actually killed in Albert's house and then dragged out.
They argued that researchers concentrated on reading because she was a 'handy outsider' who saved them to regard law enforcers as suspects.
The defense of Read said that their theory that she was framed in a huge conspiracy of the police, was supported by SMS Proctrocor, wrote about Read, which he reads aloud in court last summer.
In the reports, Proctor Read a 'Wack Job' and a 'C ** t' and called her a 'babe' with 'no a **', while she also made light from her 'Fall River accent'.
In other messages he joked about sniffing her phone for nude photos during the examination.
Proctor claimed that “these juvenile, unprofessional comments had no impact on the facts, the evidence and integrity of the investigation.”
A judge declared a mistrial in June after finding jury members could not reach an agreement without combating the jury members to confirm their conclusions.

Read's lawyer Martin Weinberg argued that five jury members later said they were only aware of the number of manslaughter.
He added that they were unanimously agreed in the jury room that she was not guilty of the accusations of second -degree murder and leaving the stage.
But they hadn't told the judge.
The last statement of the Supreme Judicial Court from Massachusetts makes the way free for a new trial about all three charges.
“The jury clearly stated during the deliberations that they had not reached a unanimous judgment about one of the charges and could not do this,” said the State Supreme Court in his statement.
'Only after being fired, some individual jury members communicated another supposed result, contrary to their earlier notes.
“Such disclosures after the process cannot change the outcome of the process retroactively – either to free or to order.”
The court also found 'no abuse of discretion' in the decision of Judge Beverly Cannone to explain a mistrial.
“After extensive, multiday councils, the jury submitted several more and more emphatic notes about their inability to reach a unanimous judgment,” the court found that the record suggested “full impasse” in court. '

Read's lawyer said they are considering their legal options.
“Although we have a lot of respect for the highest court of the Commonwealth, Double Jeopardy is a federal constitutional law,” Weinberg said in a statement.
“We consider strongly whether we should look for federal Habeas exemption from what we continue to fight are violations of the federally guaranteed constitutional rights of Mrs. Read.”
A spokesperson for the office of the public prosecutor in Norfolk said it would not have a comment on the ruling.
Regarding Read, she told Boston 25 News in an interview that was on Monday that she is ready for a second test and is not worried about who is in the persecution team.
“I don't care with whom I have been confronted,” she told the station. “I have the truth. I have the best lawyers. Do your worst. '
Read could end in prison – a fate that she said she “thinks about that after every day,” but she said, “It doesn't worry me like it did three years ago.”
Weinberg had insisted on the court to allow a proof -end hearing where jury members could be asked if they had reached the final, not guilty judgments about one of the charges.
Public Prosecutors were satisfied that there was no basis for rejecting the charges of second -degree murder and leaving the scene.
They argued that her lawyers should have felt a mistrial 'inevitable or inevitable' and that they had every opportunity to be heard in the courtroom of the trial.
