An American navy aircraft went down and two pilots were forced to cast emergency situations about San Diego in another shocking aviation incident over American skies.
The plane is said to be an F/A-18 'Super Hornet', one of the most powerful aircraft in the US military arsenal, which landed in the San Diego Bay near Shelter Island on Wednesday.
The cause of the dropped Jet is not yet clear, but early reports suggested that it flew in front of the west coast when it fell out of the sky.
Emergency crews hurried to the stage around 10:15 am local time, said San Diego Fire and Rescue.
Military officers said that two pilots were on board and successfully dropped before the plane crashed and both were raced to UC San Diego Medical Center after they had been rescued from the waters.
The extent of their injuries is not clear. This is a developing story and will be updated as information is confirmed.

After a wave of aviation accidents, the US has startled the US in recent weeks, including one of the worst air disasters in recent memory 14 days ago when a passenger beam of American Airlines collided with a military helicopter about Reagan National Port.
Days later, a small air ambulance crash landed in Pennsylvania, killing six people on board the Jet and a seventh on the ground.
These disasters were followed by a small jet who dropped radars in Alaska last week, which led to the death of all 10 people on board.
And only a day ago a private jet of Motley Crue singer Vince Neil crashed when the landing gear failed while it arrived at an airport in Scottsdale, Arizona, killed the pilot and injured three others.
