A bouncer of a nightclub has been sentenced to three years in prison after being convicted of an attempt to blackmail racing legend Michael Schumacher for £ 12 million.
Last year, MailOnline only revealed details about the extortion bid on the seven times former F1 champion that has not been seen in public since a horrible ski accident in 2013.
Three men, including the ex -Bodyguard Markus Fritsche of the Race Ace, were tried after hard drives with confidential photos, videos and medical records of a computer were stolen.
Night club bouncer Yilmaz Tozturkan, also 53 and his IT expert Soon Daniel Lins, 30, denied blackmail and insisted that they offered the Schumacher family a 'business deal'.
The test has heard that more than 1500 images, videos and confidential medical files have been downloaded from a computer and given to Fritsche that they passed on to Tozturkan who said he would 'upload them to the dark web' unless money was paid.
Prosecutors in the German city of Wuppertal called to Tozturkan who is currently in prison with a non -related crime that is given for three years.
While his son was suspended for six months for his son and French for two years, also suspended, the Schumacher family had asked for five years for what they saw as his 'ultimate betrayal'.

They also expressed that one hard disk with material had not been restored and was still missing, despite repeated searches for the property of the defendants.
A nurse who was fired by the Schumacher family is also suspected of involvement in the case, but did not succeed in witnessing to testify that she was sick.
Sabine Kehm, Schumacher's manager for more than 25 years, had previously told the court that she had fired the nurse because she was insufficient in her work.
She then described how she suspected Fritsche and her of working together because they 'often talk together' and she 'had access to Schumacher's record'.
The nurse, whose identity is known to MailOnline, has claimed that she is the victim of a sex attack in the Schumacher residence in gland on the banks of Lake Geneva, Switzerland.
There is no suggestion that one of the Schumacher family is being investigated for involvement in the attack.

Before the verdict was announced, Tozturkan said to the court: 'I am very sorry and ashamed of what I did. It was a very disgusting thing. I take full responsibility. '
Thilo Damm, Schumacher's family lawyer, said they were planning to appeal against the 'flexible sentences'.
He added: 'We disagree with everything the court said. You can be sure that we will exhaust all the legal possibilities at our disposal.
“We don't know where the missing hard drive is, I don't have a crystal ball, but there is the possibility of another threat through the back door.”
