A man who bundled the body of his young stepdaughter in a suitcase and set her on fire before burying her carved corpse in Bushland died.
Robert Smith, a minimum of 12 years in prison for his involvement in the death of six -year -old Kiesha Weippeart 2010 before he was released on conditional release in April 2023.
Nine news reported on Thursday evening that Smith died earlier this week.
His death is not treated as suspicious.
“There was a confirmed death in Randwick on 10 February,” a spokesperson for the NSW police told Daily Mail Australia.
Kleine Kiesha died in her bed in her Hebersham house near Mount Druitt in western Sydney in 2010 after she was beaten unconscious by her mother Kristi Abrahams when she refused to set up her pajamas.
Abrahams and Smith did not look for medical help after Kiesha was beaten and instead put her in the shower and then to bed, where she died.
The child's body was filled in a suitcase and hidden in the house for a few days before it was taken to Bushland in nearby Shace.

Smith was convicted of manslaughter and an accessory for the murder next to Abrahams, who was convicted of murder and imprisoned for at least 16 years.
Kiesha's body was poured in gasoline and set on fire by Smith before it was buried in a shallow seriously dug with a hammer.
She was missing in August 2010 by Abrahams and Smith.
Abrahams said she had put Kiesha in bed but the next morning had disappeared.
Abrahams and Smith made emotional supplications at the time and received an outpouring from Australians after they appeared on TV several times.
Eight months after Kiesha was missing, the police and Smith police arrested on 11 April 2011 when they went to where she was buried in Bushland in nearby Shurthy about what the seventh birthday of Kiesha would have been.
A post-mortem found 10 separate injuries on her head, jaw and body, including teeth fractures.

Smith, then 43, ran from the Junee Correction Center in the center of NSW in April 2023 After serving his At least 12 years in prison for manslaughter and an accessory for the murder.
During his conditional hearing, the court heard that the victim's family had not objected to the release of Smith, but asked that he was forbidden to enter Blacktown or Penrith in West Sydney.
Smith was assessed as an average risk of recidility and a plan was made to reduce the risk of his transition to the community.
The court heard that Smith was a prisoner in prison who participated in several programs and employment, in which Judge Bellew granted him conditional release.
A document from the spa stated that Smith behaved in a generally positive way during his time behind bars, up to the point at which he introduced custody with a classification of maximum security, he went to a minimum classification in April 2022 ' .
The chairman of the Serious Offenders Review Council, who advises which offenders should be eligible for conditional release, recommended Smith's release, a recommendation that the Spa has adopted.
The council stated that he had completed various suitable therapeutic programs and had no serious care issues of care.
It also said that he only had two institutional infringements in 12 years in custody and the most recent was almost five years ago.
A conditional determination stated that Smith originally had insight into the impact of his crime, but had 'responded positively to interventions' and had since expressed repentance and accepted the seriousness of his insult.
Judge Bellew said that Smith was judged as a medium risk of recurrence and therefore a plan was made to mitigate the risk of his transition to the community.
