The family of an NSW nurse whose anti-Semitic tirade led to public indignation says they are preparing for possible attacks after they have been bombed with threats.
Rashad Nadir and Sarah Abu Lebdeh of the Bankstown Hospital in Sydney in southwestern Sydney were in hiding after a mean video of them threats to kill Israelis was placed on social media.
During the 90 seconds clip filmed by the Israeli influencer Max Veifer, the couple, dressed in NSW Health Scrubs, they say they would refuse to treat Jewish patients and kill them instead.
Detectives have yet to see the full unprocessed version of the video, and the couple have so far refused to be voluntarily interviewed by the police, who have viewed CCTV images of the hospital hospital.
Although no charges have been laid and the couple were not arrested, an angry crowd started to form online.
The nurses and their families are bombed with threats that are too graphic to publish.
The uncle of Abu Lebdeh told Daily Mail Australia on Thursday that his family had drawn up emergency plans and was prepared for possible reprisals.
“We are ready for them, we have seen what has been said, we are ready,” he said.
“They won't get what they want. We will call the police. '

The family said that Abu Lebdeh feared for her safety and went to a secret location where she will hide for the unforeseen future.
Her brother Mohammad also said that his sister had received death threats.
“Enough of this, we want it to leave … My sister … She's sick, enough,” he said.
In the meantime, a few blocks away in the same suburb, Nadir, 27, is locked up in his mansion that refuses to leave or even answer the door.
“Someone came by here and they were angry,” a neighbor told Daily Mail Australia.
“They said they had something to say and went straight to his door. I don't know who they were, but they knew where he lived. '
The families spoke out while both nurses were deregistered by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of NSW, which means that they are unable to practice everywhere in Australia.

Hours earlier, NSW police commissioner Karen Webb spoke about public anger and defended her officers for not arresting the nurses.
She said that the police should end the video, together with CCTV and records that are seized from the hospital before the investigation progresses further.
“It is important that we put together all these pieces for a complete picture of what happened,” MS Webb told ABC Radio on Thursday.
'What people have seen so far is definitely a hate crime.

Prime Minister Chris Minns said that the scandal has broken confidence in the public health system.
“We can't have examples of nude racism from officials who are exhibited on social media or somewhere,” he said.
The clip was recorded on ChatRuretka, a telephone app that connects random users for Videochat, and showed the couple that Jews threatened during work in the Bankstown Hospital.
“It is the land of Palestine, not your country that your piece of s ***,” said Abu Lebdeh.
“One day your time will come and you will die the most terrible death.”
“You have no idea how many (Israelis) came to this hospital and I sent them to Jehannam (hell),” Nadir said, made a throat -distributed gesture.
The couple both apologized for the comments.
Nadir, 27, sheed his face in shame when the media confronted him in his house in West Sydney on Wednesday and it said that his comments were 'a joke and a misunderstanding'.
“I will use social media to apologize, but I first have to see the detectives,” he said.
