A primary school teacher and director made sure that a six -year -old student cleaned up her own droppings after she had caused an accident by a dairy allergy, claims the smoking mother of the young girl.
Jamisha Augustinus told WFAB that her daughter has a dairy allergy, but drank milk for breakfast in Rollins Place Elementary in Louisiana and almost immediately fell ill.
The young girl then asked her teacher several times to let her use the bathroom, but eventually stopped to let her go, said Augustine.
“She asked here a teacher to go to the toilet, but she said” no “because she went too often,” she explained.
But in the end the young girl in herself in the classroom.
After the accident, the girl's teacher apparently sent her to the director's office, where director Kelli Day 'told her that she was too big to have accidents in herself, “said Augustinus.
Day then continued telling the mother that her daughter had to be disciplined.
“I said,” What is the point of getting her to clean up? Do you all have cares? “She said.

“She said they have cares, but she needed a form of discipline.”
That reaction apparently made even more ragger and described the situation as “irresponsible, dangerous, shameful and really pathetic.”
“I say,” How can you punish her for an accident? “
“I asked if she would let her daughter do that, and she said she would do that.”
In the aftermath, the chief inspector of Zachary Community Schools Ben Necaise said that he does not approve the day or behavior of the teacher.
'You learn from mistakes. You take ownership, accept them and try to do what is good by the child and the parent, “he said, adding that the teacher and the director since then” realized that that was not a suitable step. “
“We do have precautions that we have to adhere to, and again, a child should never be placed in that situation to deal with it.”

Necaise continued with the network that both the teacher and the director are 'retrained' and the school system called Augustine and offered her a formal apology.
He also claimed that students with food allergies are always cared for.
'We have many students who have allergies and food restrictions and that is something that the cafeteria staff do very well to ensure that they follow these rules.
“So if there is a food reduction in the file, they follow that closely.”
But Augustine said she had filled in forms and sent the doctors of the school district to inform officials about the allergy of her daughter at the start of the year.
It is unclear how the child got the milk.

Despite the apology, Augustine said that she believes that the actions of the school district speak louder than words.
You [should] Send a caretaker with the right equipment, “she argued. 'But a six -year -old child, you will have them cleaned up without gloves.
'It's shameful and should not have continued at our school. It should not have happened. '
