Rachel Reeves was under pressure last night to 'come' Come Clean 'about her employment, in the midst of claims that she was investigated for the tinkering of her expenses.

Last night she came to fight for accusations that she was being investigated at her cost claims shortly before she left her job in the HBOS Bank customer relationships in 2009.
A BBC study reported that the bank launched an internal audit from Mrs. Reeves and two colleague managers after a whistleblower complained that they used their operating business accounts to 'finance a lifestyle'.
It is said that inappropriate expenses include lush dinners, taxis and gifts, also for each other.
In 2008, Mrs. Reeves would have bought a £ 152 handbag as a Christmas gift for her boss.
The boss, who signed Mrs. Reeves's claims, gave her a £ 55 wine gift the same Christmas.
Other purchases financed by costs by Mrs Reeves would have recorded perfume, jewelry and wine.

Treasury sources said that the Chancellor was not aware of any research into her behavior at HBOs and that she left the bank on 'good conditions' when it was restructured after the financial crisis.

Receipts that were seen by the BBC showed that Mrs. Reeves bought earrings for her dad, which she claimed at the costs.
Her dad, Linda Barrowclough, said she had received Christmas and birthday gifts from Mrs. Reeves, but had assumed that they were 'personal gifts [and] They would have come from her own pocket '.
