Vice -President JD Vance put pleasure in European indignation about the rise of Elon Musk to the top of the Trump government during his blistering speech at the Munich -Security Conference Friday.
He took the time -out for warning European leaders that they slept at the wheel of democracy to defend a man who sometimes called the real vice president.
“Believe me, I say this with all humor, if the American democracy can survive for 10 years of Greta Thunberg's Schelden, you can survive from Elon Musk for a few months,” he said.
Thunberg's Teenage Environmental Crusade has irritated conservatives in America.
And VANCE's comparison can be a way to catch questions about how he can deal with the richest man in the world, even it was a bit of a backhanded defense.
He preferred to suggest that Musk will only be a few months.
While Vance was in Europe for an AI -Top and the Munich meeting, Homde Musk the headlines on Tuesday when he held the court and answered questions in the Oval Office of the White House, alongside President Donald Trump.
But it was Vance's turn in the spotlight on Friday, when he used his speech to give a sizzling attack on Europe and his leaders.

“Europe stands for many challenges, but the crisis that this continent is currently confronted with, the crisis that I believe we are all confronted together is one of our own making,” he said.
“If you run out of fear of your own voters, there is nothing that America can do for you, nor is there something that you can do for the American people who have chosen me and chosen President Trump.”
If his audience of European VIPs expected VANCE to discuss the future of the war in Ukraine and outlined Donald Trump's peace plan, they were for a shock.

He accused officials of the European Union of 'Canceling elections and asked whether' we are sticking to a suitable higher standard '.
“There is a new sheriff in the city,” he said referring to President Donald Trump. “We can't agree with your opinion, but we will fight to defend your right to offer it on the public square.”
The hall was packed to hear Vance speak. Public members were on the stairs or stood three deep in the aisles, causing the temperature to rise, even before Vance turned up the heat.
He mentioned the example of a British man, Adam Smith-Connor, who was arrested after he refused to leave a safe zone around an abortion clinic that was designed to protect vulnerable women.
Vance claimed that it was an attack on the “fundamental freedoms of religious British” who “criminalize prayer.”
“The British law enforcement saw him and demanded what he prayed for,” said Vance.
“Adam simply replied, it was on behalf of the unborn son who had demolished his former girlfriend years earlier.”
