A teenager who killed his mother with a claw hammer was released from a psychiatric department a few days earlier, can reveal MailOnline.
Frederico Canuzo killed his mother Chintzia Mcintyre with at least 29 strokes to the head outside the parental home in Cheshire in August last year.
Her husband received a ring doorbell alert about movement outside his house while he was at work, and could only look helplessly while live images of the attack on his phone were played.
MailOnline can now reveal that the 17-year-old was admitted to Chester on August 13 in Chester after he had traveled to London from his family in Warrington and told the police that he wanted to talk to Mi5.
But on 24 August he was released from the specialist intramural unit and returned home.
He was back on the unit on August 29 – the day he launched his murderous attack on his mother.
Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Trust have refused to explain why Canuzo was released from his facility, but public prosecutors accepted his guilty plea for manslaughter on the basis of reduced responsibility.
The now 18-year-old has been taken into custody and will be convicted of Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday 18 March.

Mrs. Mcintyre's husband was the one who warned the police about the attack because he received a ring doorbell reporting while he was working in another part of the country

Canuzo had been a voluntary patient at Ancora House in Chester, a specialized intramural unit for young people with mental health problems
A source close to the family told how Canuzo traveled from his Warrington house to London to London on 11 August and reportedly tried to reach Mi5.
He eventually surrendered to the police at Charing Cross Station before being taken to the hospital.
Two days later he was voluntarily admitted to Ancora House, a specialized unit designed to treat young people with psychiatric and behavioral issues.
The unit encourages short -term releases for young people who are voluntarily held to spend time with family and friends.
The Cheshire police were called on the day of the murder day of the murder to Mrs. Mcintyre's house in Great Sankey.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, but despite their efforts, Mrs. Mcintyre was unfortunately declared dead.
It was determined that she had suffered at least 29 strokes with a claw hammer.
Officers who investigate in the aftermath of the attack discovered that Canuzo had fled and boarded a train on their way to London Euston.

The British transport police and the metropolitan police were informed and arrested him when he arrived on the Platform in London.
A spokesperson for the Cheshire police told MailOnline: 'At 10.30 pm on Friday 11 August 2023, Frederico Canuzo presented himself at Charing Cross Police Station in London.
'After talking to officers and paramedics at the station, he voluntarily agreed to attend St Thomas Hospital.
'His parents visited the hospital on Saturday 12 August and on Sunday 13 August he was brought back to Cheshire by medical staff and his parents, where he agreed to be admitted to being admitted to Chester as a voluntary patient in Chester.
'Canuzo left the Ancora House on Thursday 24 August for a home visit and would return on Tuesday 29 August for a further assessment.
“It should be noted that Canuzo was a voluntary patient during his time in the hospital.”
Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Trust refused to comment on the release of Canuzo, but Suzanne Edwards, director of operations and deputy -chief executive at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership, said: 'We offer our sincere condolences to Chintzia's family and friends in this time .
“We support Warrington Community Safety Partnership with their independent domestic murder assessment process and cannot comment further while this assessment is underway.”
After the death of his mother, Canuzo's brother wrote a heartbreaking tribute on social media in which she described as 'beautiful, shiny, funny and fantastic'.
“Four weeks ago my beautiful, radiant, funny and fantastic mother was taken away from me in an unimaginable way,” he wrote.
'The worst and most heartbreaking time I and my family have been the worst and most heartbreaking time.
“She was my person and I no longer have her with me until I get to see her again in life later.”
He added: 'I love you and miss you so much mother and I can't wait to see you again. But for now, I say goodbye and goodnight until we meet again. '
Canuzo was accused of murder on 30 August and argued last month guilty of manslaughter, which was accepted by the prosecution on the basis of medical evidence.
Public Prosecutor Gordon Cole said: 'The crown has now had the advantage of a report from a doctor and a formal defense report on Friday.
“The position is: we intend to accept the new plea of guilty of the partial defense of reduced responsibility.”
Detective inspector Eli Atkinson, who led the investigation, said: “This was an exceptional traumatic incident for all involved, especially the family and neighbors of Chintzia and emergency services trying to help her.
'Although nothing can never be done to bring back Chintzia, I hope that the conclusion of this case will bring her family some closure.
“Our thoughts are currently staying with Chintzia's friends and family and we want to thank them for their help during our research.”
