Speaking at his show 'Real Time with Bill Maher' on Friday evening, the comedian, 69, expressed his concern about the name change that came into force this month.
Maher said: 'The whole f ****** country is an onion head, the Boy Scouts of America cannot be called Boy scouts more because it is exclusively.
'As if there is no girl scouts, like this is a crime against nature. People are different, it is now exploratory America. '
Ohio Democratic Congressman Tim Ryan, added: 'They must reach, they have to make an effort, that is part of maturing and becoming a fully functioning adult.
'Removing that is insane, to say that this is aimed at young boys because young boys are different from young girls. The approach must be different. '
Maher interrupted, a joke: “Yes, they think it's funny if you can fart in a sleeping bag.”
