CNN Anchor and correspondent Kaitlan Collins from the White House receives a recoil on social media for her reporting on President Donald Trump, with some even a joke that she is the 'female Jim Acosta'.
Collins posted a video on social media on Friday on the official accounts of CNN, as a result of which viewers announced an interesting choice of artworks outside the Oval Office.
“Not only have we never had an American president with a mugshot – I am not sure if we have ever had a mugshot that hangs outside the Oval Office,” Collins said in the video.
She then showed a photo of the new decoration: a framed image of the infamous mugshot of the president.
The shot was taken in Fulton County, Georgia when the president was sued for an attempt to destroy the results of the 2020 presidential election.
The mugshot as can be seen on the front page of the New York Post is now in the outer oval, just outside the iconic office, in a golden frame.
Collins said she discovered the interesting choice of decoration when photos of Trump's meeting were released with the Indian prime minister.
Trump supporters have since fired insults on Collins on social media for the video, with one X user who writes: “Kaitlan Collins from CNN is crazy that President Trump proudly presents his mugshot outside the Oval Office.”

Collins has developed a reputation for its reporting of the White House and has often taken the headlines for sparring with Trump.
Earlier this week, Trump Collins interrupted while he publicly signed a measure to increase our rates.
