Hagerty, formerly a city selector in nearby Abington, was shocked about the behavior of the group that sought 'Sanctuary', and claimed that people are 'sick and tired' to get the identity of others in their faces'.
“Much of what I saw in my own campaign is that people are fed up with people who push their identity into the faces of others,” he said.
Haggerty added that Worcester – and the entire state of Massachusetts – always 'the gay and trans community of the gay and transes has accepted'.
