In response, the company has given the most messages a personal apology.
A spokesperson responded to one comment: 'Hey, we are sorry that you are experiencing problems with our website at the moment.
'We understand how frustrating this can be and we really appreciate your patience.
'Our team works hard to get everything smooth again. We hope to have the site online again. '

A spokesperson for BT told the metro: 'We are aware that some BT -Mail customers have no access to their e -mail on webmail and via the app.
“We are investigating the cause of this and we are sorry that the discomfort was caused.”
'As an alternative, customers can disable WiFi and use mobile data to gain access to their e -mail. No other BT service is influenced. '
A user wrote: 'I can't even put into words how angry and upset I am [BT] Just now, absolute nightmare and extremely useless. '
Many customers expressed their frustrations about the lack of visible communication of BT about the status of their service.
