President Donald Trump has shaken a part of the decor in the Oval Office since he took office, but an important change can symbolize a major change in his direction as President.

Trump contained a portrait of the famous populist president Andrew Jackson in a prominent place in the Oval Office when he first took office in January when it was above a smaller portrait of the first President George Washington of the Nation.

The two portraits were hung above the famous 'Bronco Buster' bronze sculpture by Frederic Remington to the right of the determined desk.

The prominent location of the portrait marked the return from Trump to the Oval Office, because countless comparisons between the two fiery populist presidents were written.

But in February the twin portraits of Jackson and Washington were replaced by a large portable one from former President Ronald Reagan.

Jackson was a combative president who took the courts and destroyed the National Bank and the patronage system.

Reagan embraced the global free market economy and a worldwide foreign policy that confronted the Soviet Union with a peace through power philosophy.

A smaller portrait of Thomas Jefferson now hangs above the portrait of Reagan.

The president also hung a copy of his famous Mugshot from 2023 outside the Oval Office, after he was sued in a Georgia court for trying to destroy the 2020 elections.
