Elon Musk today shared stunning data that shows that there are millions of dead Americans who are still eligible for social security payments.
The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) investigates wasted tax money as a matter of urgency after Donald Trump had promised voters enormous savings in the federal government.
Musk placed a graph on X showing that there are more than 20 million Americans noted older than 100, including 3.9 million in the reach of 130-139, more than 3.5 million age 140-149 and more than 1.3 million in the reach of 150-159. There is even a 'living' citizen older than 360, according to the archives.
The billionaire Tesla -Baas wrote: 'According to the Social Security database, these are the number of people in every age bucket with the dead field set to False! Maybe Twilight is real and there are many vampires that collect social security. '
The Department of Health and Human Services Agency is put under fire from Musk because he has more than 60 million people on his records than the entire American population, which means that millions of people who no longer live – or may never exist – monthly checks can receive.
In 2024, 68.5 million people received benefits from SSA through pension, disability and other payments.
So far it is unclear how many of these payments have been divided because of fraud or errors that have made the agency that do not confirm the age and suitability of beneficiaries – including if they live or not.
But Doge promised that it is now 'looking at it'.
