A Senior Detective who is responsible for violent sex cases who have performed sexual relationships with junior police officers after bragging, he was a 'bad ass' and could be their 'sugar uncle', a misconduct panel that was heard today.
DCI Roger Wood is accused of 'exploiting' of two junior police officers for sex after he had called them about his 'rank, interest and power'.
The married detective told a young employee that he had solved all strangers in the area, a misconduct was told.
And after having sex with a woman at her home, he told the woman 'Now you had the dci'.
DCI Wood, from Hampshire Constabulary, also asked an employee to knit socks with 'world's best detective' written on them.
He has now been drawn for a hearing of Hampshire Constabulary misconduct.
DCI Wood is confronted with two charges of coarse misconduct for entering into inappropriate emotional relationships with two women who are only mentioned as MS A and MS B.
He is also confronted with an accusation of excessive communication with MS B.
DCI Wood had been a police officer for 16 years when he resigned in February last year and was 'recognized nationally' for his work into research into sexual offenses and against online predators.

Mr. Wood denies all allegations and insists that he has acted professionally at all times
He met the trainee Police personnel researcher MS A at a domestic violence conference and they 'flirt' with each other.
They met the day after the training of domestic violence, in March 2023, at a police station in Basingstoke, Hants and DCI Wood joked that he was' stalking 'and told her that the case he investigated' was just a murder when I was When I say it is'.
After their interaction MS MS a message with a message from LinkedIn and a 'large number of flirty messages' were exchanged, including naked photos of MS A, the Hampshire Police Jason Beer KC Council told the hearing.
The senior officer responded to one of the nude images by offering MS A's 'Sugar Daddy' when they were together and suggest that they take 'their own' naked photos when they met.
The misconduct hear that the experienced DCI, who 'understood the nuances of vulnerabilities', was warned by three other colleagues that MS A A vulnerable and struggling at work.
A few days later he drove to her house in Oxfordshire and the couple had sex after the DCI had discussed his unfortunate marriage. After having had sex, the senior officer said 'Now you have had the DCI'.
The hearing, held at the Hampshire Police headquarters in Eastleigh, Hants, was told that Mrs A was with her 'lowest' when she met Dci Wood and on medication for fear and depression after a breakdown of relationships.
He denies every violation of behavior and says that he went to Mrs. A's house to tell her that he did not want a relationship with her.

Between May 2022 and April 2023, DCI Wood was a senior adviser to the police and crime commissioner and he met a young staff member, only referred as Mrs. B, in August 2022.
Their relationship developed through MS Team reports with a 'excessive' 9,965 messages exchanged between the couple in the course of eight months.
In their lyrics, before they had a sexual meeting, Mrs. B told the senior officer that she had ADHD, “paralyzing fear and was bullied in her previous job.”
DCI Wood regularly created his' rank, interest and power 'and asked Mrs. B to knit him socks with' World's best detective ', said:' I am the Sio [Senior Investigating Officer] Everyone wants 'and said that he was' too important 'to attend a violence against women and girls' meeting, Mr Beer KC said.
He told Mrs. B that he was a 'bad ass', it was heard.
Beer KC said that DCI Wood had dealt with 'many' studies with regard to vulnerable women for charges for charges.
Mr. Beer said: 'In March 2023 you met the trainee staff researcher during a domestic violence training event, at that time you were a person of higher seniority at the middle level.
'You had run the Amberstone team, with many studies with vulnerable women.
'Person A was on the other side of the spectrum of seniority, you were busy with flirty behavior …
'A number of flirty messages were exchanged on LinkedIn, including person a senting photos of her naked body, you said you would be her sugar daddy.
“You drove to the house of person A in Oxfordshire and had sexual intercourse, you said words that you have now,” you now have the DCI. “
He continued: 'Person B started working in the office of the police and crime commissioner, you encouraged an inappropriate romantic and sexual relationship.
“You have done excessive communication with her, 9,965 messages.”
In statements by Mr Beer, both MS A and MS B said they 'used' and 'used' by DCI Wood.
MS A said: 'Although I accept that I am an adult and agreed to process sexual intercourse with him, I feel on closer inspection that he was benefiting from me.
“He used me. He got what he wanted, sex and then just dumped me. I stayed so low until I finally made the decision to leave the Hampshire police.
“The thought of bumping into him, or wondering who knew about events kept me in a constant sense of fear. This only ended when retiring. '
Mrs. B said: 'I was very vulnerable at the moment and I think this was very clear to Wood.
'Although I felt at that moment that he supported me very much, I now feel that he could have used me in his favor to develop things between us.
'I feel quite used by him now … I can now see that there was a balance of power between myself and wood.
“I didn't feel this at the time, but felt that it is now clear. This makes me angry. '
