A teenage soldier who is thought to have taken her own life because of intimidation in the army was cheated by her boyfriend of the army instructor has heard an investigation.
Jaysley Beck, 19, a Royal Artillery Gunner, was found dead in her barracks in Larkhill Camp, Wiltshire, on December 15, 2021 after a work party.
She had a relationship with Sergeant George Higgins for most of her time in the army.
They split out in November 2021, just over a month before her suicide.
The Sergeant – eight years older than Gunner Beck – was a trainer at Harrogate, the Army Foundation College, where she started her career at the age of 16.
He appeared at the Hof van Salisbury Coroner, Wiltshire, and was concerned with today's provision.
Mr Higgins, who has now left the army, said their relationship did not start until her one -year course was completed and she was posted at the 47th Royal Artillery.
He admitted that he was 'unfaithful' for Gunner Beck, because he had a 'one-night stand', sent 'photos' to other women and had also 'spoken behind her back'.

He said that the couple had 'trust problems' and that their relationship began to break down.
“She said she didn't love me anymore,” said Mr. Higgins. “She loved me but wasn't in love with me.
“There were a few complications in the relationship.”
An army investigation has already found intimidation that she received was a factor in her suspected suicide.
An earlier hearing was told that the manager of Gunner Beck, Bombardier Ryan Mason, was subject to 'ruthless' intimidation, a barrage of messages'.
Higgins was asked questions about his behavior by lawyer John Dyer, who represents Mr. Mason.
The former sergeant answered 'yes' and also said that he had the feeling that there was an 'equal balance' in terms of their rank.
The 30-year-old refused to answer questions regarding when he was sleeping for the first time with Gunner Beck or when he had slept with other recruits when he was questioned by Mr. Dyer.

Mr Higgins said he was worried about the volume and content of messages that Gunner Beck received from Mr. Mason.
He said: “He sent her a lot of messages and she was worried about his mental health and was worried to upset him.
“She took it that he was always good. That was the kind of person she was … It was overbarrowing on his part. '
“From memory, he said he felt suicidal and had mental health problems and that it was her fault because of a lack of attention,” he said.
“He showed her a 30 -page document he had written.
“She had seen screenshots of it, I remember told me they were his fantasies about her.”
He remembered a time when they were sitting at his mother's dining table and he told Gunner Beck that Mr. Mason was' obsessed with her because he had sent her a stream of messages.
The research has heard how battery -sergeant -Majoor Michael Webber, now from Warrant Officer Class 1 -Rang, tried to kiss Gunner Beck after a barbecue.

Mr Higgins described the receipt of phone calls from her in July 2021 after the incident.
He said: in the morning she was found by a captain who actually told her that she was lying about what was happening. '
A good friend of Gunner Beck's, Gunner Tamzin Hort, said the research horses Beck received 'disgusting comments' from male soldiers.
She said there was a 'women -like' culture within the army and female soldiers would be subjected to 'vicious gossip' by male soldiers.
Mrs. Hort said she left the army after treatment she received from others.
She said: 'I got a lot of unwanted attention, especially if you had a drink, it would all go downhill.
“I couldn't end my block without getting any nasty comments.
'I stopped feeling safe and started to lock up my door because everyone could just walk in.
'I knew she [Gunner Beck] Would many reactions, she was amazing. Everyone said how amazing she was.

“She was beautiful, she would get such comments, but she shouldn't have done that.”
