An 18-year-old beauty match queen died tragically in a horrorauto accident on a highway in Florida.

Kadance Fredericksen, a former winner of Miss Okaloosa County Teen USA from Baker, Florida, was mentioned on Tuesday as a victim in a horrible crash the day before.

The beauty queen rode Highway 4 near when her Sedan collided with a tractor trailer driven by a 56-year-old man, said Florida Highway Patrol.

Authorities still investigate the cause of the crash and the police have not made any arrests about the death of Fredericksen.

Fredericksen previously made the headlines in 2017 when she created 'Kadas Promise', a charity initiative that offered teddy bears and blankets to children in foster care, homeless and abuse shelters and hospitals.

She told Wear News in 2019 that she was inspired to help others because she experienced homelessness and abuse as a child, until she was admitted by her father and adoptive mother.

On her Kadas Promise website she wrote: 'For many dark times in my early childhood, the only thing I could call mine or that felt safe, was a single teddy bear that I received as a gift.

'I wore him from home, couch home and grabbed him firmly in the scariest times. It comes from these memories that Kada's promise was born. '

Speaking of her charity work, Fredericksen told the outlet last year: 'When I was a small, I was abused and neglected by my biological mother and stepfather.

'At that time, the only thing I had to call mine was a cuddly animal that I received years in advance as a gift.
