Two British tourists who have been held in Iran while they have been accused of espionage all over the world, according to the Iranian legal staff.
Craig and Lindsay Foreman, who are in the early fifty, were arrested in January due to non -specific security costs.
The news was first released by the state -run media who said they were kept custody in Kerman.
They published an image of the couple – with their faces blurry – Hugo Shorter, the British ambassador.
Mr. Foreman, a carpenter, and Dr. Foreman, a lifetime, crossed Iran from Iran on December 30 from Armenia and their plan was to leave the country on 4 January on their way to Australia.
After they crossed Iran, they stayed in Tabriz, Tehran and Isfahan. But they have never reached their next hotel in Kerman.
In a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Van Craig and Lindsay Foreman family said that their arrest had “caused considerable concern” and that they “were united in our determination to secure their safe return.”
They said: 'We want to take this opportunity to tackle the painful situation with regard to Craig and Lindsay Foreman who are currently being held in Kerman, Iran.
