Passengers on board the Delta plane that crashed in Toronto continued to frighten and suffer fear after the roller coaster landing.
Except for two of the 21 people who were brought to hospitals after the plane crashed while the landing was released, officials said during a press conference on Tuesday.
“Our employees were confronted with a multitude of different injuries, mainly arising from back diseases, head injuries, anxiety, a few headaches, nausea and vomiting because of the exposure to fuel,” said operating commander at Peel Regional Paramedic Services Cory Tkatch on Tuesday.
The jet with 80 passengers and crew landed hard, burst into flames and turned around.
At least three of the passengers who were taken to the hospital, including a child, were seriously injured.
The two who stay in the hospital do not have life -threatening injuries, said Deborah Flint, CEO of Greater Toronto Airports Authority.
A passenger told CBC News that he was upside down and still bound in his chair after a powerful landing.
Peter Carlson said he crashed on the ceiling when he pulled out his seat belt and smelled gas. He and another man helped a mother and her young son out of the plane before they got out.

Most passengers could evacuate in themselves, said fire brigade officers who responded to the crash.
Yet some images conquered emergency staff and passengers helped out of the wreck.
Passengers said they could smell fuel while making their escape.
The plane was set on fire in some areas in the crash landing, but the emergency system could prevent a catastrophic explosion.
The US Federal Aviation Administration said that the Transportation Safety Board from Canada will lead the investigation. The National Transportation Safety Board in the US sent a team to help.
The communication between the tower and pilot was normal when approaching and it is not clear what went so drastically wrong when the plane hit down.
Video that was placed on social media showed the aftermath with the CRJ-900LR over, the hull apparently intact and firefighters who left the fire when passengers climbed out and walked over the asphalt.
John Cox, CEO of Aviation Safety Consulting Firm Safety Operating Systems, told The Associated Press that the CRJ-900 is a proven aircraft that has been in use for decades and has a good job to handle bad weather.
He said it is unusual that an airplane ends up on the roof.
“We have seen a few cases of starts where aircraft are reversed, but it is quite rare,” Cox said.

The CRJ-900, a popular regional jet, was developed by the Canadian space company Bombardier. It is in the same family of aircraft as the CRJ-700, the type of aircraft that was involved on January 29 in the collision of the afternoon near Reagan National Airport.
One of the questions to be answered, Cox said, is the reason why the crashed aircraft missed his right wing.
“If a wing is missing, it will have the tendency to deal,” he said. 'That will be central questions about what happened to the wing and the flight data recorder and cockpit speech recorder. They will be found, if not today, tomorrow, and they will read the Transportation Safety Board from Canada and they will have a very good understanding of what actually happened here. '
The crash was the fourth major aviation accident in North America in the past three weeks.
A commercial jetliner and an army helicopter clashed near Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC, killing 67 people.
A medical transport plane collapsed in Philadelphia on January 31, where the six people on board and another person were killed on the ground.
And on February 6, 10 people were killed in a plane crash in Alaska.
