A Slovak criminal who was imprisoned after he had attacked a woman with a shovel was allowed to say in Great -Britain after it was claimed that he was 'rehabilitated'.

The 22-year-old spent 15 months behind bars after he had participated in a massive fight with other Slovakians in a parking lot after an event in a community center in Stoke-on-Trent.

During the incident, two groups of partygoers fought one and the other with spades, bats and metal rods, leaving people behind several injuries

It was during this fight that the man hit a woman on the ground with a kick in what a judge described at the time as a 'large -scale incident of serious public disorder'.

The Daily Telegraph reported that the home office was trying to deport the man – who has three previous convictions for threats, abuse and driving while disqualified – stating that they believed that he was a “serious threat to the public”.

Nevertheless, his deportation was blocked by upper immigration ribunal judge Christopher John Hanson.
