Patrick Mahomes was attended on Monday to the funeral of his grandfather in Texas after his death at the age of 78 last week.
Randy Mahomes, the father of Patrick's mother Randi, died on Friday after fighting an unknown disease in recent months.
His death came only five days after Patrick, 29, and the Super Bowl defeat of the Kansas City Chiefs against the Philadelphia Eagles on 9 February.
The Quarterback from Chiefs made the trip to Henderson, Texas on Monday for the funeral of Randy, where he was seen alongside younger brother Jackson, 24, in exclusive photos taken by DailyMail.com.
Patrick, who performs a nightmare in the defeat of Kansas City at Super Bowl Lix, was seen with a black polo shirt with a red rose attached to it and black sneakers, while Jackson chose a gray suit, white shirt and navy shoes.
Randy died five days after the crushing defeat of Kansas City against Philadelphia, where Patrick's mother announced that he had died.

“Hard to find the words of holding my father's hand while he goes to heaven,” wrote Randi Mahomes next to a series of photos of her father.
“I know he's in a better place. I love you dad. Well done, good and loyal servant '.
Randi had repeatedly spoke on social media about her father and his poor health, but never revealed exactly to which problem he suffered before his death. Randy became 78 on January 6.
Before the Super Bowl in New Orleans, the mother of the Chiefs Quarterback said that her father 'hung on' to see Patrick play in the showpiece of football.
'I know it has meant a lot to him (that Patrick is in another super bowl). And I think he is satisfactory because he wants to see his grandson do something great or just let him play, “she told people.
