The Pittsburgh Steelers reportedly emerged as a potential destination for Daniel Jones, where the quarterback is looking for a new team.
The 27-year-old Jones left the Giants halfway through last season after a second consecutive campaign from a disaster.
Jones asked to be released free and joined the Minnesota Vikings for the rest of the season, although in the end did not play for the team when they made the first round of the late season.
Now it has been claimed that Jones could have an opening at the Steelers, according to Pittsburgh Sports Radio -Gastheer Andrew Fillipponi.
He posted on X: 'Source: There is interest in former Giants QB Daniel Jones in the Steelers organization.
“Quote:”[The Steelers] Could do much worse than Jones. “With the conviction, he is actually well suited for the violation of Arthur Smith. And the preference of Mike Tomlin for a mobile quarterback.”

The stalkers are, as it looks, without a quarterback in their selection. Both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields are on their way to free agency, although there is hope in the organization that they will be brought back.
Earlier this week it appeared that the New York Jets are also interested in fields.
The jets are looking for their new signal deputy after they have said goodbye to Aaron Rodgers while Aaron Glenn is rebuilding the schedule.
Fields started the first six games of the season for the Steelers before Tomlin replaced him by Wilson for the rest of the campaign.
